ABOUT
My name is Chelsea Sinclair. I grew up in Freeport, NY with both of my parents and my younger sister. Growing up, although I had friends, I was often looked at differently because of the normal thick curly texture of my hair and the occasional unibrow. However, to kids my age it wasn't normal. So at a young age I felt like I needed to modify myself to fit in. That was ultimately the start to everything I went through as seen in my open letter to girls worldwide. One thing I stated was that I wasn't happy with myself and my mistake was that i thought someone else can make me happy when I wasn't even happy with myself.
I wrote this open letter so girls can see they're not alone. Although it doesn't seem like it, girls go through this more often then you think. They feel not worthy enough, trapped and unsatisfied with themselves and therefore allow others to take advantage of them. I hope anyone reading this can see my growth, my new found confidence and know that they are not alone. Use this page as guidance and reassurance that everything gets better in the end. Remember if everything isn't okay, then it isn't the end. Please feel free to contact me with any questions, concerns, or comments.
